The election official smiled at me as I handed her my (government-issued picture) ID (new GA law, it seems a deliberate attempt to disenfranchise voters, but whatever) and asked, "Is this your first time voting?"
Uh, no. Although my looks may deceive, I am not twelve (or 18 for that matter, which as far as I'm concerned is as good as 12.)
next time we talk, remind me to tell you my voting story from tuesday. and to ask you if the ID is specifically for voting? or am i remembering correctly that you don't have a drivers' license?
and as always, i'm pretty amused at the whole you-look-twelve thing :)
