Hillary Clinton was talking about establishing an academy for public service similar to the other military service academies already in place; I said the only bad thing about that idea is that she didn't establish it before I went to college.
that's interesting. i guess my only concern is that when The Man starts to coopt something that's cool, the coolness of it often dwindles.
i'm not saying that i necessarily think that a public service academy would be un-cool. obama has some interesting ideas about "making public service cool again," too. i think that's actually a direct quote.
not meant to be an obama plug (as if i hadn't already made my allegiance to him abundantly clear), but just observing that this seems to be a trend..?
