Dude, even though I can sort of fathom the chancellor of U of I writing something against Greek organizations, he would NOT sign it "GDI Chancellor..."
However, I guess I can kind of see how Greek orgs "service to perpetuate social inequality" and "promote a lack of diversity". Spelman has been a stronghold for black Greek sororities since 1979 when they were first allowed on campus, but a lot of administrators and professors despise the sororities particularly during spring pledge season.
i'm not hoping it's a prank.
